ABILITY TO WORK SIMULTANEOUSLY ON MULTIPLE ASSIGNMENTS. DEMONSTRATED WRITING ABILITY. ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND EXERCISE SOUND JUDGEMENT. PHOTOSHOP OR PHOTO EDITING EXPERIENCE. EXPERIENCE IN LEGAL OR COMMUNITY SERVICES SETTING. EXPERIENCE WITH DEVELOPMENT, PUBLICITY AND/OR PUBLIC RELATIONS. EXPERIENCE WITH IBM-COMPATIBLE COMPUTERS, WINDOWS SOFTWARE AND DATABASES, PAGE LAYOUT AND DESIGN SOFTWARE (ADOBE PAGEMAKER OR ADOBE INDESIGN, PREFERRED.) BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED.


Job Description: ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATION: THE CLINIC COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE RUNNING OF THE CLINIC. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, MAINTAINING CASE FILES, BOTH PAPER FILES AND WITH CLINIC'S CASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE. COORDINATING CONFLICT CHECKS. PROVIDING STAFFSUPPORT FOR CLINIC ADVISORY BOARD MEETINGS. CONDUCTING BASIC OFFICE TASKSSUCH AS COPYING, MAILING AND SCHEDULING. MAINTAINING COMPUTER CENTERS (WITH SUPPORT FROM LAW SCHOOL COMPUTER SERVICES). COORDINATING TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. DEVELOPMENT AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: THE COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING INFORMATION RELATING TO THE FINANCES OF THE CLINIC AND COORDINATING FUNDRAISING EFFORTS. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DRAFTING GRANT APPLICATIONS. MAINTAINING GRANT CALENDAR (INCLUDING PROSPECTING AS WELL AS DELIVERABLE INFORMATION). COORDINATING GRANT OPPORTUNITIES WITH LAW SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT STAFF. DEVELOPING ANNUAL CLINIC BUDGET. REPORTING ON BUDGET MONTHLY TO CLINIC DIRECTOR. STUDENT COORDINATOR: THE CLINIC COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPONENTS OF THE CLINIC ARE READY AND AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, MAINTAINING CURRENT STUDENT MANUAL EACH SEMESTER. MAINTAINING STUDENT TIME RECORDS. COORDINATING STUDENT ACCESS TO SYSTEMS WITH LAW SCHOOL COMPUTER SUPPORT. BEING THE GO-TO PERSON WHEN STUDENTS HAVE ADMINISTRATIVE QUESTIONS. INTERACTING WITH STUDENTS. COMMUNICATIONS: THE CLINIC COORDINATOR IS EXPECTED TO MAINTAIN AND PREPARE CLINIC COMMUNICATIONS. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DRAFTING THE CLINIC'S ANNUAL REPORT. MONITORING AND UPDATING CLINIC WEB PAGES. PREPARING BROCHURES AND FLYERS FOR CLINIC EVENTS AND DISTRIBUTION.PREPARING ANNUAL CLINIC ALUMNI NEWSLETTER. DRAFTING NEWS RELEASES FOR WEB PAGES AND INTERNAL DISTRIBUTION. MONITORING, MAINTAINING AND UPDATING THE ENVIRONMENTAL CLEARINGHOUSE WEBSITE. CONDUCTING ANNUAL CLIENT SURVEY.
