Reunion Gift Program:
Commemorate, Participate, Celebrate!
What memories Reunion stirs up!

We may not have realized it during our years on campus, but our great adventure was being underwritten by the unrestricted gifts of generous alumni and friends to the Washington University Annual Fund: tuition covered only part of the cost of a student's education. The same is true today.

The Reunion Gift Program is a critical component of the Washington University Annual Fund. As much as Reunion is about coming back to celebrate our years at Washington University, Reunion is also about giving back. The Reunion Gift Program provides the core support the University needs to maintain its international reputation for excellence.

All those celebrating Reunions in 2008 are being asked to "participate in something great" by making a special increased gift or pledge to the University in honor of Reunion.

WHAT COUNTS?
  • ALL gifts and pledges made this year, which ends June 30, 2008, counts toward your Reunion Gift.
  • ALL years of a multiyear pledge count toward the class gift total, yet full payment of the pledge may be spread over a period of up to three years. If you've already made a gift, it will count as the first payment of your multiyear pledge. And if your employer matches charitable gifts, then your pledge really adds up!
  • ALL restricted gifts designated for a specific purpose, such as permanent scholarship endowment or building facilities, count.
  • ALL corporate matching gifts count. Click here to find out if your company matches.

  • ALL planned gifts, such as a Charitable Remainder Unitrust or a Bequest Commitment naming Washington University as a beneficiary, count. For more information, please call 1-800-835-3503.
  • ALL Annual Fund gifts count. You will be recognized with membership in one of the following Annual Giving Club levels.

CENTURY CLUB $100 to $249
CENTURY FELLOW $250 to $499
DEAN'S COMMITTEE $500 to $999
WILLIAM GREENLEAF ELIOT SOCIETY $1,000 and up
NAMED SCHOLARSHIP SPONSOR $2,500 and up

Every gift, big or small, to the Reunion Gift Program matters! Making a contribution to the Reunion Gift Program is a meaningful way of giving back to a university that continues to grow in excellence and opportunities. Your gift or pledge may be directed to the school or program of your choice. A special Reunion gift is a practical, visible vote of confidence in our alma mater. It helps strengthen the University and enhances the value of our own degrees. Your gift touches the 21st century by supporting today's students!

The Reunion class with the highest increase in participation in the Reunion Gift Program will be awarded the Class of 1948 Participation Trophy during Reunion Weekend.
