Check Your Status

Some students have reported problems checking their status on our secure server using Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you are having trouble, please follow the steps below to change your preferences in Internet Explorer. You should then be able to access your status:

• Choose “Tools” from the menu and then “Internet Options”.
• Under the resulting window click on the tab named “Advanced”.
• Scroll down the list of options, under “Security” you may have the box checked for “Use TLS 1.0”.
• Uncheck that box and then click on the “Apply” button and then click on the “OK” button.

Helpful Hints:

Last Name: Be sure to type your last name exactly as you submitted it on your application.

Date of Birth: Enter the month, day and year of birth as indicated. Include the slashes. For example, January 1, 1989 would be typed as 01/01/89. If you did not provide your date of birth on your application and you wish to use this online form, you must contact your application processor and provide your date of birth so that she can add it to your application file. Please call or e-mail your processor using the contact information below.

Social Security Number: Enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. If you did not provide your Social Security Number, or if you have not been issued one, you may use your Applicant ID Number instead.

Applicant ID Number: This 7-digit number was printed on the Confirmation letter you received after you submitted your application. If you do not have your Applicant ID Number, you may use the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to access your update.

Application Processors: You may call or e-mail your application processor using the information below. When sending an e-mail message, be sure to include your full name, address, phone number, and Social Security Number. If you are writing to add date of birth to your application file, please be sure to include the date of birth in your e-mail.
